Summary
It was disappointing to see how limited the handset options were – Vodafone was the only store to offer me anything not made by Samsung.
Unfortunately, a lack of a demonstration and a strange pitch for Nokia Maps, rather than its features, spoiled her chances.
Three and O2 could easily have tied for first but the extra care with a live demo won the day for Three.
Rahima at Orange wasted a lot of time trying to sell me an iPhone, despite my protests while at T-Mobile Randip, perhaps inadvertently, told me their offering would soon be out of date.
