Alcatel launches entry-level 205 handset at O2

Device costing under £30 to go on sale at the operator’s stores later this month

Alcatel One Touch has launched its 2005 handset, to go on sale this month at O2 stores for £29.99.

It has a 2.4-inch screen and keypad, as well as a two megapixel camera and the ability to play and record video.

The device also comes with Twitter and Facebook applications pre-installed, with a built-in radio and the ability to expand memory by a further 8GB with a microSD card.

Users can also transfer their music collection from a computer by plugging in the supplied USB cable.
