The Mobile Phone Xchange (MPX) rebrand will conclude by November 25, in time for its relocation to Elstree
Brightstar is rebranding its UK-based mobile device buyback and trade in subsidiary Mobile Phone Xchange (MPX) as Brightstar Buyback and Trade-in Europe.
The distributor said the rebrand will take effect by November 25, coinciding with its relocation from London to Elstree.
The buy back and trade-in service includes device collection, refurbishment and re-sale to secondary markets.
Its rebrand will not impact current operations with operator and retailer customers, the company said, and the MPX direct-to-consumer buyback website will remain active.
“It makes good business sense to keep it a familiar name and site in place for consumers seeking to trade-in their used devices,” said Brightstar Buyback and Trade-in Europe managing director Marc Walters.
“Brightstar has brought global breadth and strength to our operations and we anticipate 2014 being a year for expansion in all areas.
“We look forward to leveraging Brightstar’s presence and credibility across the world to attract new customers and grow in the region.”
