WorldSim launches 3G smart watch for under £55

Nuevo Smart Watch packs 380mAh battery, microSD card slot and an “international SIM card”

International MVNO WorldSim has launched a connected smart watch that lets users benefit from free international roaming in nearly 100 countries.

The Nuevo Smart Watch comes with a 3G world SIM that allows users to make calls, send messages and connect to the internet without use of a smartphone.

It is powered by a 380mAh battery and runs on a MediaTek MTK6260A processor. It sports a 1.56 inch screen and weighs in at 75g.

The smart watch comes with a 2MP camera built in to the strap and speakers built in to the watch face to play music or listen to calls. Other sensors include a pedometer, a sleep monitor and a sedentary reminder.

It can hold a microSD card up to 32GB and supports BlueTooth 3.0.

London-based WorldSim offers cheap roaming in more than 100 countries, including China, Germany, Brazil and Canada.

The device is available from WorldSim’s website with three strap colours: Black, brown and white. It costs £54.99, including a WorldSim pre-paid SIM-card.
