Apple expected to unveil iPhone 13 next week

The latest Apple Watch series is also expected to be announced

Apple is set to unveil its upcoming iPhone 13 series next week on September 14 after sending out its media invitations.

The invite has the strapline ‘California Streaming’ and will stream at 6pm GMT next Tuesday.

It’s anticipated that next week’s launch will be a refresh on last year’s iPhone 12 series, which was the first Apple series to feature 5G connectivity.

Apple is also expected to showcase its latest Apple Watch Series at the launch.

Record-breaking: Last year’s Apple series was a huge success for the vendor

Last year’s flagship series by Apple was the vendor’s quickest to ever reach 100 million sales. The Cupertino-based giant achieved the feat in just seven months, according to Counterpoint Research.

It comes as Apple recently posted record high revenue of $81.4bn (£59bn) for its third fiscal quarter of this year.
