Samsung Electronics announces two new CEO’s

Jong-Hee Han and Kyehyun Kyung announced as new leaders

Samsung Electronics has announced a new leadership to help boost the company’s future growth and business competitiveness.

Jong-Hee Han is now Vice Chairman and CEO and will lead the newly merged SET division to help drive new businesses and technologies as well as continuing to head the Visual Display Business.

Han is a leading expert in TV research and development and has helped the company achieve the top position in global TV sales for the 15th consecutive year.

Kyehyun Kyung will also be CEO and will lead the DS division where he will maintain the company’s semiconductor leadership and lead innovation in the components business.

Kyung is an expert in semiconductor design as he was the head of Samsung Electronics’ flash product & technology team, part of the DRAM design team and was previously CEO of Samsung Electro-Mechanics.
