The IoT provider added 75 new channel partners last year and recently hit the 300 partners milestone

Pangea has revealed that its partners’ total IoT data usage increased by over 500 per cent during 2020.

It comes as the IoT solutions firm reported year-on-year growth of 95 per cent, due to the strong demand for IoT data.

The global pandemic has sped up businesses’ adoption of IoT use cases, with a Vodafone’s IoT Spotlight 2020 study backing this up.

Vodafone’s study revealed that 82 per cent of businesses that have adopted IoT have seen a rise in both revenue and market share.

Growth

Pangea also hit a milestone to kick off 2020 by signing their 300th channel parntner, following 75 additional partners last year.

“IoT helped keep the world turning through 2020, and it continues to shape the future ahead of us”, said Pangea MD Dan Cunliffe.

“If you haven’t taken the first step into IoT yet, my advice is to find an IoT partner and do it now. Every industry is brimming with IoT opportunities right now, especially those like transportation, healthcare, education, and construction.

“Because the benefits that IoT offers—connectivity, efficiency, safety, sustainability—have never been more important.”

Last year Pangea was involved in a number of IoT projects including the connection of a pop-up hospital for the NHS at the beginning of the pandemic.

Pangea also kept 55,000 students connected with their online studies last year through adaptive 4G connectivity and an AI-based content filter.
