21C Telecom, Grapevine Telecom, Fenchurch Communications and Totel Solutions back in top tier of network’s partner programme

Vodafone Partner Services (VPS) has promoted 21C Telecom, Grapevine Telecom, Fenchurch Communications and Totel Solutions to platinum partner status again.

The reinstatement comes six months after the four partners were relegated to Vodafone’s second, gold tier in May after the initial six-month review of the partner programme.

21C Telecom,  Grapevine, Fenchurn and Totel Solutions were all informed of the decision last month, and received official confirmation last week.

The move sees Vodafone’s top- tier platinum partner numbers increase to 26.

Vodafone declined to comment on the reinstatement.

Braintree-based dealer Cellular Carphone, which was also downgraded to gold status at the same time earlier this year, has not been reinstated, however.

Vodafone launched its channel model in September 2010 following a restructure that saw Yes Telecom and Vodafone Direct merge to form VPS.

The programme features a tiered model with different levels for partners – platinum, gold and silver – who have access to performance enablers, support packages and business development tools, based on a capability and performance criteria mix.

Vodafone has also scrapped One Net connection targets for platinum and gold partners following complaints from dealers who were upset by their introduction in July. Vodafone had also increased connection targets by 29 per cent.
