Vodafone gold partner purchases dealer for undisclosed fee, adding less than 500 Vodafone connections to its base

B2B dealer Business Mobile Communications (BMC) has been sold to rival Town & Country Unified Comms for an undisclosed fee.

Farnham-based BMC, a Vodafone silver partner, will now exit the industry after seven years. Sandhurst-based Town & Country, a Vodafone gold partner, will absorb and manage less than 500 connections under its own brand.

BMC had just two staff, who have both now left the industry. All connections were on Vodafone.

Town & Country managing director Geraint George (pictured) said: “BMC approached us because it wasn’t growing to the expected levels and it was under pressure to increase its business. We’re consistently talking about acquiring and working with partners who are looking to develop and exit their business.”
