Upgrade connections within Three’s distribution and dealer channels frozen following concerns about service quality within the space
Three today (September 13) announced it has suspended consumer upgrade connections within its indirect distribution and dealer channel.
The operator says the decision was taken after it emerged there were “concerns regarding the quality of service provided within the space”.
In a dealer bulletin issued to all of Three’s channel partners, the operator said all commission rates for consumer upgrade connections would also be “zeroed” and that a number of other services would no longer be available.
The operator did not comment on what the “other services were”.
In the bulletin Three said: “Three appreciates this will interrupt your trading. However, this process is essential for Three to complete its review of upgrade practice. We will be back in touch with you as soon as possible.”
It continued: “It is imperative Three and the indirect channel work together through the suspension and review to ensure a robust and customer-focused upgrade process. We will be in contact shortly to provide a channel update.”
