
Orange Business has a new division to handle defense and homeland security matters..
The new Defense & Security Division brings together hundreds of experts to work on digital transformation of government ministries, national operators, and private sector companies who handledefense and security matters across France and Europe.
The move is aprt6 of Orange’s “Lead the Future” strategic plan for secure, sovereign digital infrastructure in critical industries. The new divisionwill develop esilient connectivity, hybrid civilian-military networks, secure data hosting, emergency communications, AI, and cybersecurity.
DD&S will work with Orange Cyberdefense, France’s leading cybersecurity player, to deliver protection against cyber threats. The unit will also draw on Orange Business’s 5G network, 45,000 km of terrestrial fiber, 2,500 satellite antennas, and 450,000 km of submarine cables.
