Excalibur says purchase of Emnico Enterprises will increase turnover by £750,000 and extend service portfolio
Swindon based managed service provider and Vodafone Platinum partner Excalibur Communications has acquired private IT network management company Emnico Enterprises Ltd for an undisclosed fee.
It is the first acquisition in a “series of strategic acquisitions” that Excalibur says is aimed at “accumulating skills” and “establishing leadership” in the SME managed service market.
The purchase of Emnico Enterprises which is also based in Swindon is expected to increase Excalibur’s annual turnover by £750,000 and extend its technology, service and support portfolio according to the company.
Excalibur currently has over 5,000 SME customers which it provides with voice, data, business continuity, connectivity, cloud computing services and currently manages over 30,000 mobile phone users, predominately on Vodafone.
Speaking about the purchase Excalibur managing director James Phipps (pictured) said: “The Emnico Enterprises Ltd acquisition reflects Excalibur’s continued focus on repositioning the company as a complete unified communications and IT solutions provider to the SME market.”

The purchase of Emnico Enterprises has also seen Excalibur reach an agreement with sister company Emnico Technologies to deliver software and complete end-to-end customer solutions.
