Vodafone platinum partner to aid expansion plans with move to office three times the size of its current premises as staff numbers increase

Vodafone platinum partner Evolve Telecom is to relocate to a new 750m2 head office by early next year, as part of its expansion plans.

The Southend-based company currently shares its offices with a number of other businesses, but will move to its own site based just two miles away.

The new head office, which is three times the size of its current housing, will be ready by March. Evolve also has offices in London and Cambridge.

Managing director Mark Gordon (pictured) confirmed the plans, which he said will help establish its identify and accommodate further expansion.

Gordon said: “The new office will be designed and kitted-out to our own specification and is a major investment for us. It sets us up for the long term.

“It will create a great environment to work in, as well as giving us room to grow. We currently share our head office with other companies, so this will enable us to create our own brand identity and really raise awareness of the Evolve Telecom name.”

New appointments to the team

Evolve has recently increased its staff numbers from 60 to 65 across its sites, and expects more to join over the next six month.

New appointments include Neil Gregory, who has been promoted to regional manager for London. Former Vodafone account manager Lee Taylor has also joined the management team in the London office.

Evolve sales director Paul Richmond said: “We are keen to develop talent within the business and to recruit strong individuals with proven track records externally. Over the next six months we will look for strong candidates to scale up our new business strategy.”
