UK business customers to get dedicated technology advice from Apple for first time in world’s biggest Apple store
Business customers will be able to get dedicated technology advice for the first time from an Apple retail outlet in the UK, as the technology giant unveiled its biggest store in the world.
The Covent Garden Store in London is Apple’s 300th, and biggest, worldwide and will feature rooms dedicated to Macs, iPads, iPhones and iPods, with 30 iPhones, 56 Macs, 30 iPads and 40 iPods on display.
And for the first time in the UK, Apple said local enterprise customers will be able to request meetings and attend workshops at the store looking at technologies that can be deployed in their business.
Other features will include free technical support, workshops and presentations and a start-up room to ensure products are working correctly before customers leave the store.
Apple senior vice president of retail Ron Johnson said: “We are thrilled to open a new store in this amazing location in Covent Garden.
“Our store on Regent Street is one of the most popular and successful Apple stores in the world, and we think the people of London will love the new Apple Store Covent Garden just as much.”
