Orange distributor joins Everything Everywhere in celebrating the launch of the Orange Partner Programme

Mainline and Everything Everywhere co-hosted a business lunch at Raymond Blanc’s  Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons restaurant in Oxfordshire yesterday (August 12) to celebrate the launch of the Orange Partner Programme. Five of Mainline’s key dealers were in attendance.

In April it was announced that Orange’s old federated partner programme was being revamped. Orange split the programme into three tiers and put new B2B connector targets in place to drive better revenue and loyalty. The agreement is also intended to bring in new business from non-traditional fixed line and IT reseller channels.

Orange has organised accredited dealers and distributors as principle partners, specialist partners and approved partners, according to the business they deliver. Principle partners are required to put 90 per cent of sales through Orange, and work directly with it. Mainline falls into this tier and five of its dealers are now accredited Orange partners.

Mainline managing director Andrew Boden (right) said: “When the country’s biggest mobile network operator tells you that you are an important part of their forward distribution strategy, that’s a good cause for celebration. The Orange Partner Programme is a significant statement of intent by Everything Everywhere and it was good for all three parties – Evrything Everywhere, Mainline and its newly accredited Orange Partners, to get together to discuss the opportunities for growth.”

Everything Everywhere indirect sales director Duncan Hay said: “Mainline has played a clear and invaluable role in representing the interests of its dealers and in helping us to shape our thinking about the format of the Orange Partner Programme. The inclusion of some of Mainline’s key partners in the programme is definitely a development worth marking.”

Also in attendance were Orange head of SME marketing Sarah Davies and Mainline director of dealer sales Gail Hollinshead.

Mainline will host a second event in the near future for other dealers that have also been appointed to the programme.
