Mobile Phone House risks closure

July 3, 2009

West London dealer considers closing because of decline in footfall

West London dealer The Mobile Phone House may be forced to shut its shop due to dwindling consumer footfall and focus on B2B sales.

The dealership, which opened 12 years ago and connects T-Mobile and Orange, said it will shut if footfall does not improve.

Proprietor Ziggy Ahmed said: “There’s a strong possibility we may be forced to close the shop because there are no customers out there at the moment. The overheads on the shop keep increasing and we seem to be fighting a losing battle in terms of the offers we can place. We may turn all our attention to B2B, which remains steady.”
