Frequency wins exclusive Catalyst Lifestyle supply deal

Company to exclusively provide retailers in the UK and Eastern Europe with durable cases for a range of iPhone models 

Frequency Telecom has been exclusively selected by Catalyst Lifestyle to distribute its smartphone cases to retailers in the UK and Eastern Europe.

Catalyst manufacturers all-weather cases for the iPhone 4/4s and 5/5s. They are waterproof up to five metres and can withstand drops of up to two metres. The company, which will soon be releasing cases for a wider range of smartphones, has a portfolio of 19 new products available in more than 70 countries.

The distribution deal sees the Catalyst Lifestyle brand make its debut in the UK. Retail partners and pricing will be announced in due course.

It is also introducing a new line of Catalyst Waterproof Sleeves, which are cushioned with EVA foam and include a double lock watertight closure to protect tablets, laptop and  e-readers against liquid damage.

Additional products include the Catalyst Belt Clip, Catalyst Bike Mount and Catalyst Pro Adapter, which are designed to make it easy for consumers to mount their device wherever they are.

This latest distribution deal adds to those Frequency, already has in place with the likes of Case-Mate, JAYS, Happy Plugs, i-box and Music Angel Friendz The distributor is headquartered in Chessington, South London, and employs more than 60 people across the UK, Scandinavia, Germany, Benelux and Russia.

Frequency sales and purchasing director John Willoughby said: “The market for activity-based smartphone protection has seen significant growth and when we first saw the Catalyst products, we immediately realised the potential of this ultra-protective brand.

“For the first time, customers can use a protective case every day that is a million miles away from the bulky designs of its competitors. The Catalyst range has a unique place in our case portfolio and presents great scope for incremental business.”
